Architectural Designer (Entry Level to 5 Years Experience)

The architectural designer at HFA, Ft. Worth will work with REVIT, AutoCAD and other design and rendering software for the design of retail, commercial and industrial buildings from design development though construction document (CD) creation and completion.

This position will entail 75% of the time towards designing buildings using REVIT and/or AutoCAD software for production of CDs; and Photoshop, 3D Max, et al for rendering; all under the direction of licensed architects.  You will coordinate directly with in-house disciplines, including:  Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire Protection and other engineers.  You’ll be utilizing your talents for problem solving, finding & understanding problems and finding solutions.  The remainder of your time consists of visiting new construction sites and existing buildings to document site conditions for remodel and tenant improvement projects.  Our Ft. Worth team has industry leading architects and engineers with a history of working in a collaborative and integrated AE firm.

The ideal person for this opportunity will have the following characteristics:

  1. Graduate from a NAAB accredited school of architecture
  2. REVIT savvy, efficient user of AutoCAD and rendering software
  3. A recent graduate or have 1-5 years of increasing responsible architectural experience including construction document production
  4. Be a self-motivated person that can work independently
  5. Be a creative problem solver
