The Fort Worth American Institute of Architects Homes Tour is Fort Worth’s only citywide homes tour curated by architects. Open to the public, this annual, self-guided tour showcases outstanding residential architecture designed by local architects. The tour features a mix of projects including: renovations, additions, and newly constructed homes. The tour’s mission is to celebrate the process of design and educate the community on the benefits of working with an architect. The projects that we feature show the highest attention to detail, a superior design sensibility and the benefits of a long-lasting relationship between contractors and their subcontracting team. Our tour showcases the beautiful products that homeowners expect and reveals the process that it takes to create this level of design. Proceeds from the event support a variety of programs offered to the public by AIA Fort Worth.
Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer for our event. The AIA Fort Worth Homes tour is looking for volunteers for the weekend of the tour. For each shift we offer a free weekend admission ticket to the tour. We have two different volunteer positions for each house: Cashier and Home Guide. Cashiers will assist tour attendees at the check-in desk at each home and Home Guides will assist the AIA in various tour tasks at the house. To signup for your volunteer time, CLICK HERE.
