LiA seeks to serve and support our local communities by establishing a forum for celebrating Latinos in the design related professions. Latinos in Architecture intends to be an open resource group for architects, design professionals, educators, students, and the community.
PERSPECTIVAS FW 2019 is a juried exhibit at Galeria de la Rosa and the Historic Rose Marine Theater in the heart of the North Side in Fort Worth. Serving as jurors were Greg Ibañez, FAIA, Michael Zaretsky, AIA and Jenny Thomason, AIA. They selected ten works of architecture by students and professionals working at multiple scales.

LiA Perspectivas 2018 Exhibition April 13- May 13
LiA FW’s Perspectivas exhibition will be held at the Galeria De La Rosa in the heart of the North Side of Fort Worth and will kick off on Friday April 13th with an opening reception and award ceremony from 6-8pm! This exhibit showcases artwork by local Latino design professionals and students and will run until May 13th.
As part of Perspectivas, LiA is also hosting a lecture by Abel Perles of PRODUCTORA. The lecture will be held in the Kahn Auditorium at the Kimbell Art Museum on Saturday April 14th from 11-1pm.
PRODUCTORA is a Mexico City based Architectural Office. Founded by four architects of different nationalities: Abel Perles (1972, Argentina), Carlos Bedoya (1973, Mexico), Victor Jaime (1978, Mexico) and Wonne Ickx (1974, Belgium). Their work is distinguished by its interest on precise geometry also on producing legible projects and a clear gesture and by the search of timeless buildings in their own material and programmatic resolutions.
