Completed in 1932, the building was designed by the architectural firm Wiley G. Clarkson & Co. The building became a recorded Texas historical landmark in 1984 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

June 7th 5:30-7:30 pm   Airfield Falls Conservation Park Tour

 

 

Join AIA FW and ASLA for a guided tour of Airfield Falls Conservation Park featuring the tallest natural waterfall in Texas! The tour will be given by Kevin Sloan, the park’s landscape architect.

July 18th 5:30 – 6:30pm    Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge Boardwalk Tour

 

 

The Fort Worth Nature Center on Eagle Mountain Lake has built a new Marsh Boardwalk over Lotus Marsh to give better access and a covered pavilion for nature lovers in Fort Worth. The tour of the boardwalk will be given by Paul Dennehy, the project’s architect.

August 29th 5:30-8pm    Connex Office Park Tour (TxA Visit)

 

 

Connex office park is a development consisting of 40 shipping containers. Each 20’ container is transformed into a micro office suite of approximately 160 sq ft. The building is 3 stories tall. All units are linked to one another via external walkways and outdoor stairs. The building is designed to be a zero energy building once complete.

September 13th 6-8pm     True Worth Tour

 

True Worth is a comprehensive resource center that provides a variety of crucial tools designed to help end the cycle of homelessness as well as a day shelter that provides guests who are currently experiencing homelessness with access to help, hope and respect.
