About the Position:
Serves as an Interior Designer responsible for the development of interior designs, plans and specifications for military and civil works projects of varying size and complexity.
- Prepare conceptual plan layouts and comprehensive (furniture, equipment, and furnishings) interior designs, technical specifications, color boards, art packages, cost estimates, and drawings.
- Interpret, adapt, and apply numerous guidelines, precedents and visual arts principles and practices to determine the most feasible design and/or possible alternative solutions.
- Coordinate with other elements of the District to assure accuracy, compatibility and completeness of information.
- Prepare and review studies, scopes of work, and conceptual and final interior designs.
