2016 Student Design Award Winners
Six awards presented to Texas architecture students in AIA Fort Worth’s annual recognize Excellence in Design Awards.
The American Institute of Architects Fort Worth held their annual Excellence in Architecture Design Student Awards jury on February 1, 2017. Of the record 71 projects submitted by 7 of the 8 accredited schools of architecture statewide, jurors Gary Cunningham FAIA of Cunningham Architects, Bart Shaw AIA of Bart Shaw Architects and Sarah Walton, Assoc. AIA NCIDQ of GFF singled out 6 projects to receive awards. Among projects of varied size, function, and budget, 3 Honor Awards and 3 Merit Awards were selected. The Honor Awards are presented with a $500 scholarship per project.
