BBP is seeking an enthusiastic, community-oriented Project Architect to join our award-winning design firm in downtown Fort Worth Texas.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of relevant work experience
Professional degree in architecture
Professional registration
Design and technical detailing experience
Fluency of 2d and 3d drafting and modeling software
Digital graphic skills, including familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
PROJECT DESIGN/PROCESS
Work directly with senior leadership and principals to lead the architectural process from inception to completion
Coordinate internal team and consultants to maintain a project’s budget, staffing and scheduling
Provide direction on code requirements, technical detailing and construction documents to internal team
Responsible to be involved throughout construction administration and review all needed submittals, shop drawings and conduct on-site observations and reports
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Commercial experience is valued, but 1-3 years of experience with residential – custom or market rate is preferred. Design and project management experience in large and small scale custom residential projects or small-scale multi-family & market rate home experience. Experience in client contact, initial design, design development, through construction, coordination, and installation. Candidates will have personal contact with clients, consultants, and contractors and as such communication skills are critical. Visualization skills including modeling as well as sketching are integral to our client communication process.
