BIM Technician Level 1 – Utah and Texas Offices
GSBS Architects is an award-winning, inter-disciplinary design firm with a collaborative culture that supports career growth and advancement within the firm.
We have immediate openings, in our Salt Lake City and Ft. Worth Offices, for BIM technicians with 3+ years of experience. A bachelor or associate degree in design technology or related field is preferred but not required. Applicants will be asked to demonstrate proficiency as part of the interview process.
Responsibilities:
· Produce building information models for projects of moderate size and complexity.
· Collaborate with more experienced BIM technicians on complex BIM assignments for larger, more complex projects.
· Produce detailed construction drawings under the direction of project team leaders.
· Coordinate with project consultants on BIM and production issues and attend BIM coordination/production meetings as needed.
· Support the preparation of materials for design presentations.
· Understand and strive to meet project goals and objectives.
Competencies:
· Thinks critically and creatively.
· Organizes information and communicates clearly.
· Proficient in Revit.
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dynamo, Enscape, Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design is preferred but not required.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and profit-sharing bonuses. Salary is competitive and dependent upon experience. GSBS values in-person collaboration but gives employees the flexibility to work from non-office locations when needed and when coordinated with project, team, and firm needs.
