AIA Fort Worth's Charles R. Adams Memorial Scholarship Recipient

AIA Fort Worth received a grant from AIA for $1,000 in matching funds to go towards AIA Fort Worth's Charles R. Adams Memorial Scholarship program.   AIA Fort Worth provides a $2,000 scholarship annually to a deserving architectural student in his/her fourth or graduate year at the University of Texas at Arlington.  This scholarship was established in 1988 by AIA Fort Worth as a living memorial to Charles R. Adams, AIA. This year's recipient, Alexei Dukov, is a first year graduate student at University of Texas at Arlington. He is most interested In studying trends of suburban construction throughout the U.S., and how they relate to the culture of citizens living in decentralized nodes of development.We encourage members to consider donations to this scholarship fund as gifts, memorials, and honors.  You can send a contribution to the Charles Adams Scholarship Fund, Texas Architectural Foundation, 500 Chicon Street, Austin, Texas  78702.
