DESIGN AWARDS
Each year, AIA Fort Worth host the Design Awards to various members, projects, individuals and groups for their outstanding achievements and service to the profession of architecture and the community.
The AIA Fort Worth Excellence in Architecture Design Awards and Studio Awards recognizes outstanding work by our membership. All entries will be evaluated for design excellence regardless of size, budget or project type.
ELIGIBILITY
• Built projects must have been completed within the last 5 years and cannot have previously won an AIA Fort Worth Design Award (with the exception of a previous Studio Award).
• The Design Architect must have been registered with TBAE and a member of AIAFW at the time the project was executed.
• The Design Architect must be responsible for the primary design of the project and be credited on the entry form. Where one architect or firm is not the sole author, all participants substantially contributing to the design must be given credit.
• The design work must have been performed locally, within an office located in the AIAFW Chapter region.
• Projects must be submitted in the name of the firm that executed the commission. If that firm has been dissolved or its name has changed, an individual successor firm may enter projects in the name of the firm in effect at the time the project was executed. Multiple entries of the same project will not be accepted from multiple entrants.
• The Design Awards Committee reserves the right to verify all information and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the eligibility requirements.
• All entries will be evaluated for design excellence regardless of size, budget or project type with consideration given to sustainability.
