This position will be the primary representative and face of the firm in the DFW market.
Responsibilities to include:
Projects
· Design of projects on a variety of scales
· Guide translation of design concepts into construction documents for both interior and exterior systems
· Manage portfolio of client relationships
· Coordinate and oversee project teams including multiple consultant coordination
· Oversight of project teams on construction documents and specifications
· Lead and oversight of construction administration
· Technical leadership in a variety of project types, hospitality experience a plus
· Reviews invoices
Staff
· Play a key role in mentoring and coaching of junior staff
· Lead staff development initiatives that educate staff on technical or management aspects of architecture
· Responsible for resource allocation
Firm
· Responsible for quality control and document review for set of assigned projects across the studio
· Lead or play major role in office leadership projects, responsibilities as assigned
· Represent the firm in the community, attend networking events and participate in other activities that promote firm initiatives
Skills and Education required:
· Experience leading and managing client and consultant relationships
· Positive attitude and experience leading teams
· Experience with staff development preferred
· Knowledge of architectural practice, including design, documentation, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction technologies
· Demonstrated design skills
· Demonstrate technical proficiency and creative problem solving
· Ability to synthesize firm initiatives and cascade information to the staff in a meaningful way
