Attendees will learn about a new sustainable sheetrock tape technology which allows for the removal, reuse, and relocation of sheetrock in interior spaces. This decreases landfill wastes, reduces harmful gases, and allows for cleaner and quicker renovation projects. This technology meets numerous green governmental requirements and can provide up to 11 LEED credits when used. This session will detail the appropriate uses of this new technology and provide case studies highlighting how this new product type has benefited owners and occupants in built projects.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will learn the environmental impact of traditional interior sheetrock systems and how sustainable/reusable drywall tape can lessen those effects.
Participants will learn how sustainable sheetrock tape can earn LEED Credits and contribute to a more sustainable building
Participants will learn the installation process for sustainable removable drywall partitions and how it differs from traditional drywall systems.
Participants will learn about federal incentives for building owners to use sustainable removable drywall partitions for interior renovations
